VoIP Implementation Project

I am putting together implementation plans for two clients for National/Regional Voice over IP systems, and need local contractors at each location to perform four primary functions:

1. Site survey to document existing voice and data infrastructure including wiring, wiring closets, Demarc, WAN facilities and routers, Firewalls, Telephone systems and sets, Workstation cabling, Demarc extensions, entrance facilities, power and HVAC, and all the other elements that impinge on a successful implementation. Survey templates and guidance will be provided.

2. Proposals and, if accepted, work to upgrade facilities at each location including installation and test any wiring, power, demarc, etc. enhancements that may be indicated.

3. Network infrastructure equipment installation, turn-up and testing. This will include new or upgraded WAN facilities, routers and switches. It may also involve changing the internal IP addressing schema on devices with fixed IP addresses such as printers.

4. Installation, turn up and test of VoIP equipment.

The partner must be fully comfortable in the switch room/wiring closet with expertise in racks, panels, wiring, switches, routers, UPS, power, environmental conditions, WAN links, etc. The partner must also have the resources available to start work and respond immediately to questions/task assignments, and updates. The Survey phase is due for completion July 1 of this year.
